The newly recruited employees of Kapelebyong District Local Government have been implored to be professional in the execution of their duties.
This was raised by Ms. Oroma Rhoda, the Kapelebyong district Chief Administrative Officer during orientation and swearing of the newly recruited staff in the district council hall on 15th January 2025.
She urged the new staff to adhere to the public service standing orders, time management and official dress code.
Ms. Oroma guaranteed to induct staff for them to be able to handle their tasks inline with the public service standards.
While administering the oath of office, oath of secrecy and oath of allegiance to 49 new staff, Mr. Shaineh Nelson, asked for respect of authority from the employees.
He also emphasised on upholding of duty schedules, filling of appraisals and effective reporting in their work. He also urged the staff to further their studies to be able to grow in service.
Ms. Nawegulo Bridget, the Senior Human Resource Officer, expressed her commitment to access the new employees on payroll if they provide her with the necessary documentation on time.
She asked them to provide her office with their bank accounts, tin numbers, photocopies of appointment, posting instructions, assumptions and acceptance letter for the appointment, among others.
